Anyone wishing to sell from his/her guest room may purchase a Room Sales Tag.
Room Sales Tags are nontransferable or refundable. Room Sales Tag purchases are limited to one unit per registered 2026 Kenvention™ Kenvention™eer. Room Sales Tags will be available to preorder ending on July 26, 2026, at 12:00pm CDT. If you miss the preordering window, these can also be purchased on-site at registration.
This tag must be displayed in your private guest room window, signaling that you are open for business! Tags will display your room number. You may not post anything but the official Room Sales Tag in your guest room window. Once you have your tag displayed, you may open beginning Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 7:00pm CDT and close by Sunday morning, October 11, 2026, at 12:00am CDT.
ROOM SALES WINDOW TAG DISTRIBUTION: Early Tag distribution will begin Tuesday evening and thereafter during registration starting Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 4:00pm CDT. Each registered Kenvention™eer who has pre-purchased or is purchasing a Room Sales Tag must be checked into the hotel and provide their room number to pickup/receive the Tag. You may still purchase and receive a tag at Registration if you did not pre-purchase one. Please refer to the early Room Sales Tag on-site location/pickup times and Registration times on the Schedule.
HOURS: Room shopping will be open before and during the Kenvention™ beginning Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 7:00pm CDT and ending early Sunday morning, October 11, 2026, at 12:00am CDT.
FLYERS /ADS: We will have bulletin board space available for Room Sales flyers/ads in the hotel lobby. Please do not post flyers/ads on walls or elevators. Posting anything in other hotel locations may result in removal and/or damage charges to the individual who placed the sign. The flyers/ads placed on bulletin boards cannot exceed 5.5 x 8.5 in / 140 x 216 mm in size (half letter paper size). Please be respectful of other Room Sellers and design your ads to the correct size. When placing your ad on the bulletin board(s), do not cover another seller’s ad on the board. Any ads that exceed the dimension requirements above will be removed.
SETTING UP: The hotel will not provide any on-site tables, table linen/covers or chairs for rent or use in private rooms. PLAN AHEAD: If you require tables, table linen/covers or chairs for your Room Sales setup, you will need to bring them with you to Kenvention™, or acquire from an outside source. Please do not contact the hotel, as they will not be providing this type of service or rental to any guest in a private room.
